CABAÑAS OXAPAMPA

These cabins are part of an eco-friendly condominium project located in the cloud forest of the central Peruvian jungle. The construction focused on the responsible use of the natural resources available on the land, such as the pine forest and clay quarries, to minimize environmental impact and costs.

The wooden structures were made using local pine, treated and worked directly on site, which reduced the need for transport and took advantage of the material wealth of the surroundings. On the other hand, the walls were made with quincha, a traditional technique that combines mud and straw, guaranteeing excellent thermal efficiency, natural ventilation and an aesthetic finish that harmonizes with the landscape.
