In the Sacred Valley of Cusco we began to carry out projects incorporating the use of bamboo. Despite being at 3000 meters above sea level, the jungle is only 4 hours away, from where the canes are brought to make a dream come true.

The idea was to create unique cabins using the URPU, or Inca vessel, as a reference, whose shape symbolizes the connection between the womb, source of life and abundance, and the cosmos.

Its design incorporates Andean duality: the balance between opposites, such as masculine and feminine, earth and cosmos, liquid and solid.

For this reason, in addition to the ethereal structure of bamboo mesh, which reflects the cosmos, construction with solid stone and adobe walls is used, rooted in the earth and generating a warm space inside.

Each cabin will have an outdoor Jacuzzi and a personal sauna, which combined with its location facing the Vilcanota River, will make it a unique refuge in the valley.
