LA CASA DEL BOSQUE DE NUBES
Facing the majestic Gocta waterfall in northern Peru, this house fuses past and future in a tribute to the ancient Chachapoya culture. Inspired by its circular stone architecture and built with materials that the place itself offered, the house stands as a tribute to the landscape and its history.
The discovery of a stone quarry beneath a thin layer of earth defined the character of the project. The walls, sculpted using traditional techniques by local hands, emerge as witnesses to the ancestral legacy. Bamboo, with its lightness and sustainability, completes the work as a regenerative resource that unites nature and innovation.
In this construction, nature led the way, revealing that the most beautiful and sustainable solutions come from the environment itself. It is a work where stone and bamboo dialogue in perfect harmony, respecting the past and embracing the future.
